We are proud to offer one of the most competitive E-type Jaguars on the market today.

This car won in its first race and went on to win the fiercely competed E-type series which is quite a remarkable achievement plus it is also road registered and is a lovely car to drive at road speeds, making it an excellent car to do historic rallies in too.

This 1962 3.8, Series 1 E-type was built by a successful Isle of Man racer when he decided to hang up his leathers.  He takes his racing very seriously and he was not happy, however to merely compete, he wanted a car that would win.  With this in mind he bought a good rust and damage free car and stripped it completely.  He then rebuilt it with the help of Sigma engineering (who did the engine and gearbox) and numerous other engineers he has acquainted over the many years racing.  The fabrication on the car is beyond belief – the fuel tank, radiator and header tanks are so beautiful you will want to put them on your mantle piece!!

When finished, he had produced one of the best looking and fastest E-type in the country. The restoration included the rebuilt engine and gearbox, new wiring loom, competition spec springs and dampers, new roll cage, firesafe system, race battery, 72 spoke wheels and race tyres. Cosmetically, the car was beautifully painted in its original colour of Jaguar Opalescent Dark Blue.

This is a wonderful car that is ready to be raced straight away and no matter what your skill level, promises to be a huge amount of fun.
