Our aim is to stock a wide array of cars as we understand the individual nature of selecting a collectors car. However, if a particular car you are looking for is not in our stock, we will be more then happy to source it, using the combined knowledge and experience of all our companies.
Angus MacCurrach set up Hilltop Storage Ltd as a classic car storage and transport specialist in 2004. Here he had the pleasure of looking after a number of classic and vintage car collectors as well as many people in the trade, racing and auctioneering. This led to the company becoming being more active in the collection management side than simply as a storage center and in 2013 it teamed up with Cotswold Car Storage Ltd, with whom it had always been close.
This venture continues its excellent service and allowed Angus the time to create a wider sales area with Cotswold Collectors Cars Ltd. With this excellent platform and wide range of customers and sellers, you and your cars will receive excellent service and results.
Martin Chisholm has been an authority in the Collectors Car world for 30 years and has worked for some of the world’s leading auction houses. In this time he’s been able to build up an extraordinary knowledge of the market and of individual cars, as well as gaining an invaluable range of contacts around the world.
His career started at Christie’s, and in 1991 he went to work with one of London’s leading specialists, Porters of Kensington from where he moved to become Director of the Collectors Car department at Sotheby’s. Then in 1998 he set up his own specialist consultancy and dealership, which is now based in the Cotswolds.
Richard’s love for motor cars began, like many us, at a very early age. Throughout school and university Richard had no doubt about the path his career would take! Said career began at Broughtons Aston Martin in Cheltenham. After Broughtons came the opportunity to begin an exciting career in the world of collector’s cars working for Martin Chisholm Collectors Cars Ltd. A new chapter has begun with the exciting opportunity of working alongside Martin and Angus with Cotswold Collectors Cars Ltd.
Excited by the prospect of growing this company into the future and dealing with the finest examples of all manner of Vintage and Classic cars, Richard is keen to see Cotswold Collectors Cars become a hub of quality and professionalism whilst retaining a sense of fun and enjoyment!
Hugh started a career within the art world at Sotheby’s in New Bond Street but soon realized a desire to follow his passion for classic automobiles and racing cars, passed to him by his father who was a keen Aston Martin and Porsche collector. Hugh has enjoyed over a decade of successful racing in Historic and GT sports cars, including 5 years as an instructor at the Silverstone Race school. In 2013, Hugh moved to New York to join Autosport Designs Inc., one of the largest classic and sports car dealers on the East Coast.
Recently returning to Europe and having helped build a number of notable collections, Hugh brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience of the global market. Specialising in classic and modern classic sports and GT cars, he would welcome any questions you may have, whether buying, selling or simply seeking advice about the market.
